The Upani Cotton Rug was ethically handwoven in India according to Care & Fair certification standards. This reversible design features a two-tone dash pattern which is inverted on the reverse – an easy way to change the look of a room, without redecorating. We designed the rug to reflect some of our bestselling wool collections, but in a smoother, less fuzzy finish that only cotton can provide. The rug is finished with fringing at either end. Order with our rug underlay to keep the rug in place, and your flooring in good condition.
All orders to mainland UK incur a £5.95 delivery fee, unless your order is over £50, in which case the delivery is free of charge. We also ship across Europe - delivery charge is calculated at the checkout. If for any reason you’re not 100% happy with your order, you can return it within 100 days of receipt for free from the mainland UK. See our deliveries and returns page or contact us for more information.

Lovely rug but disappointed to have to pay an extra £60 to UPS prior to delivery. We understood there could be extra charges relating to VAT but as this was included in the price on the website we were expecting a smaller additional fee of 2.5% of the cost plus the fixed fee charged by UPS to cover extra admin - thank you Brexit!. Extra was listed as 'Government charges' but no idea what this relates to and impossible to follow through with HMRC. Urbanara should make it clear that the charges could be substantial even if they don't know exactly how much and that the VAT paid in the buying price does not seem to cover whatever the charges are that UPS is applying. I appreciate that its not your problem but we are your customers and should be helped to decide if the product we wish to purchase is worth an additional 25% wherever the money is going! Have had 3 previous rugs prior to Brexit rules and really like your products. Good prices (see above) and fast shipping but won't use again for anything over £135 as the final cost is just a big unknown.
