Global Organic Textile Standard

Global Organic Textile Standard

The world's leading standard for textiles made from organic fibres, the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification defines high-level environmental and social criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain.

GOTS is internationally recognised as the toughest organic textile standard as it examines every single step of the manufacturing process.

To meet GOTS certification standards, a product must contain at least 70% organic fibres for a ‘made with organic’ certification, or 95% for a full ‘organic’ certification, and not be treated with any toxic substances in any way; GOTS also insists its certified products are manufactured in factories that are environmentally friendly and uphold high standards for their employees.
