The Kalanka Rug is the archetype of attention to detail: woven with beautiful-quality wool, this design features a neutral palette in a voluptuous basket weave that's accentuated by a double cotton warp in a contrasting hue. The result is a rug with depth and reserve, but which has just the right amount of flair from up close. Care & Fair certified and finished to an excellent quality standard, pair this reversible design with our rug underlay to keep it in place and in good condition.

Adam ASKS:

"Is the rug waterproof?"

"No, jute is not a waterproof material. While this design is beautiful (and light enough to be moved out onto the terrace for outdoor summer lounging, it should not be kept outdoors, and will become brittle and damaged if exposed to the elements for too long."
