Raipuri Cushion

Natural white, mustard & black, 40 x 60 cm

100% cotton

OVERVIEW

Inspired by the Kilim technique, a weaving style originating from regions under the former Ottoman Empire, the Raipuri collection employs a tight, flat weave to create a simple, high-contrast geometric design. The front of the cushion is 100% cotton and resembles a pearl knit, while the reverse is a durable cotton canvas.

Order the cushion ready to style with our quality goose and suck feather inserts.

MADE WITH LOVE

The Raipuri collection was handwoven in India by skilled craftsmen and women. The finishes are high-quality, and each piece is quality-checked before we sell it to you. As with all our cushion collections, only 100% natural fibres have been used to craft each piece.

URBANARA CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM

Andre ASKS:

"How are the patterns on these cushions created? They do not look woven."

"No, the patterns on these cushions are not woven, but instead are screen printed. Screen printing is a type of stencil printing in which the fabric paint is pressed through a fine mesh cloth. Several layers of paint can be applied in succession, and fine patterns can be achieved."
