Care: When washing your hammock, we recommend tying each arm at equal intervals with pieces of cord and washing gently by hand in tepid water with mild detergent. Never fold when wet or store it in a damp place. The hammock is provided with a manual on how to take good care of it. As some of our products are made especially for you in faraway parts of the world, this may result in a longer delivery time. Please check your shopping bag for specific delivery information. Big or small, all orders under £50 attract a £4.95 fee for delivery to your doorstep within the UK. Originating all the way from the Northern Andes of Ecuador, our partner supplier's hammocks are handmade by a small number of families among the indigenous Otavaenoa. The company believe in high quality design and durability when it comes to their products, and beauty and honesty are also key. They take pride in forging strong ties with the people
they work with, including the families in the Otavalo region who base their experience on a long history of weaving traditions. These hammocks have been produced under good working conditions and no child labour has been used. Their goal is to provide work to people, in order to strengthen the country's economy and development.
