Pair with our rug underlay to ensure your rug stays in place and to keep your flooring in good condition.

This collection is made according to the following industry certification standards:

Ethically handwoven in India without the use of child labour, the Kolvra Rug is a design that shines. The cotton warp and new wool weft blend together to create a collection that is hard wearing, but which still exudes a refined and elegant look, thanks to the delicate nature of the herringbone pattern. Finished without further ornamentation, the Kolvra is a fine example of how traditional weaving technique can be blended with contemporary style, providing the benefits of time-proven methods with a modern and versatile look.

Care: We recommend vacuuming this rug regularly to keep it clean. However, for cleaning stains we recommend using a damp cloth (without any detergents) and trying to remove the stain by dabbing at it. If this does not remove the stain, the rug should be sent to a professional cleaner for flat washing. The rug should occasionally be shaken or beaten with a carpet beater. To prolong the rug's life, we recommend using our rug underlay to increase the design's longevity and keep flooring in good condition. To preserve the natural colour, regular direct sunlight should be avoided.

Sammy ASKS:

"Is the Kolvra Rug thick?"

"The Kolvra collection has a height of one centimetre, providing ample width to act as insulation against cold flooring. Thanks to its tight plain weave however, this design is also suitable for warmer months."

Emma ASKS:

"Why would you recommend a rug underlay exactly?"

"As well as ensuring your carpet stands the test of time and maintains its fabulous condition, a rug underlay also protects the floor in your home."

Selina ASKS:

"What does Care & Fair mean?"

"Care & Fair is a charity that works with rug producers in India, Pakistan, and Nepal. Their certification signifies that no child-labour was used during the rug production process. In addition, proceeds raised through the organisation are used to build schools and hospitals in the communities where the rugs were produced."
