Not all cottons are made equally, and for this collection we decided on mercerised sateen cotton for extra softness and sheen. Sateen cotton gives the fabric a super smooth feel and finish, achieved by undertaking a different weaving process to standard cotton. Mercerisation is a treatment applied to the

fibre, used to smooth out any loops in the cotton threads and subsequently strengthen them, causing them to swell. The end result is the glossy cotton you see in this collection. We combine these two techniques to create a high-quality product, giving you the foundations you need for a good night's sleep.
