Our Marvila cotton bed linen is both soft on the skin and kind to the planet, having been produced with outstanding environmental credentials by a family owned supplier. This 300 thread count duvet and pillowcase set comes in two arresting colours – dark green or Bordeaux red. Both pieces are finished with a wide border and, for a final touch of elegance, have concealed mother-of-pearl buttons visible on duvet and concealed on the pillowcase.

Available in three sizes with a choice of green or red.

CARE & DELIVERY

Care: We recommend washing the bed linen inside out and with similar colours at 40°C. It can be dryed using a machine dryer on a low setting. It can be ironed using a low setting. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean.

Now in its third generation, our talented partner supplier make their beautiful wares not far from a backdrop of rolling plains. Based in Portugal, just outside of Lisbon, the gorgeous natural landscape and warm climate surely inspires the way our supplier does business, with an emphasis on environmentally sound production. For this collection mercerised sateen cotton is used, creating extra softness and sheen.

Sateen cotton gives the fabric a super smooth feel and finish, achieved by undertaking a different weaving process to standard cotton. Mercerisation is a treatment applied to the fibre, used to smooth out any loops in the cotton threads and subsequently strengthen them, causing them to swell. The end result is the glossy cotton you see in this collection, which our supplier turns into beautiful bed linen.
